I became a mother at the age of 38 through the incredible, taxing, emotional crazy beautiful ride called adoption. Having worked as a restaurant hostess, fragrance demonstrator, visual merchandiser, and spa manager I was certainly going to return to work after my paternal leave was up. I needed to be around people! After a pretty traumatic experience getting my daughter home, the moment she was placed in my arms it was game over, I’m now a stay-at- home mom. I love to cook, read and I’ve learned a lot about food intolerances, specialty baking and label reading since my daughter arrived. In addition, I love to do laundry half way, run the dishwasher but not empty it, and pretend I’m not home when the doorbell rings because I’m is too horrified to be seen without make up.
